About Us
In 1880, our great, great grandfather, Simeon Higginson Breeze founded the business that we operate today, based upon the ethos of providing the highest levels of service and facilities.
Our late father, Christopher Williams, maintained these values throughout his working life, building upon those early foundations to create a Funeral Service whose facilities and reputation are known throughout the British Isles. Before his death in 2013, he proudly oversaw the development of Fletcher House in Madeley, which fulfilled his ambition of opening a Funeral Home to serve the families of South Telford. It now compliments our existing offices in Dawley Bank, Shifnal and Lawley.
Along with our mother, Carol, and dedicated team, we constantly strive to continue and build upon the vision of those before us; to provide every bereaved family we serve with the finest levels of service and facilities available. This was recognised in 2011 when we were invited to join the prestigious organisation Selected Independent Funeral Homes, which recognises the finest Funeral Homes Worldwide.
If given the privilege of acting on your behalf, our qualified and experienced team will attend to every detail and ensure that arrangements are carried out efficiently and sensitively to your complete satisfaction.

Our Funeral Homes
We are very proud of our Funeral Homes, together with the unrivalled local – and not so local – service we work diligently to provide. You are always welcome to visit our three superbly appointed homes: Argyll House at Dawley Bank, Fletcher House in Madeley and John Williams of Shifnal in Bradford Street, Shifnal. It can be immensely reassuring to get a sense of where your loved-one will be cared for and by whom.
For your complete peace of mind, our premises are fully alarmed and secured for protection, undergoing regular scrutiny, both internally and by the National Association of Funeral Directors. Our Dawley Bank and Madeley Homes offer private chapels of rest for you to visit your loved one in peace and privacy.
